The Mad Ones details the true story of the stylish Crazy Joe Gallo and his two brothers from Red Hook, Brooklyn who somehow managed to start a mob war against New York City's Mafia establishment in the 1960's.

The design was recognized and included in the AIGA: 50 Books/50 Covers exhibition after publication.
